About
I believe creating music is a meditative practice. It has taught me how to empty myself, in order to listen for what each space and moment in time is calling for.
The inspiration for my music lies at the intersection of healing, nature and collaborative improvisation. My background as a multi-instrumentalist makes it possible for me to switch between of a variety of instruments. I use a loop pedal to blend all the different sounds together in a live setting.
I have a deep appreciation for culture, which is infused in my music and growing collection world instruments. My music journey began 20 years ago, playing drums in a Scottish Pipe Band at Highland Games festivals across the US, since then I learned to play guitar, piano, flute, and many other instruments.
I am proud to have collaborated with classical Indian musicians, as well as artists from Senegal, Russia, Camaroon, Nepal, Columbia and Spain.
