What Is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a meditative experience lasting about 1 hr using a variety of instruments such as singing bowls, flute, hand pan, ocean drum, chimes, vocals and more while attendees float in the pool, or recline poolside while they relax to the restorative musical journey.

What should I bring?
I recommend bringing a light blanket and pillow or bolster if you are sitting poolside , an eye cover if you’d prefer, and wear comfortable clothing.

If you have a poolside reservation please bring your own yoga mat. If you have a floating raft reservation please wear a swimsuit and bring a towel.

What to expect?
Event flow:
  • 15 min. settling in, getting everyone on their rafts, soft mood music
  • Begin sound journey
  • Expect to hear instruments like singing bowl, possibly some light gong, flute, harp, bells and hand pan
  • Last 15 min. music to gently call you back in, begin assisting people out of floats
  • 5-10 min packing up and event closes

Sound journeys are a space for rest, healing and quiet contemplation.

If photos are being taken for the event there will be a media release form to opt out if desired.

FYI: Those who are floating need to bring their own towel and swim suit. Those who are sitting poolside need to bring their own yoga mat, pillow, (and blanket or eye cover if desired). Drinks will be provided for all. Floats are provided.
